ABOUT THIS STYLE
How this style is made
This collection imitates the physical character of a museum painting: fine craquelure, aged varnish, deep shadow layers. The aim is not to look like an oil painting, but to look like an oil painting that has hung on a wall for a hundred years.
Reproducing age digitally takes real restraint. The cracking cannot be uniform, the varnish yellowing needs direction, and the shadows need age without looking dirty. Overdo the transition and it reads as a filter; underdo it and there is no texture at all. It is the most time-consuming of the ten.
If the goal is a piece you can hand down, or you want a collected atmosphere in a study or hallway, Royal Collection is the closest fit.
A source photo that sets you up well
Send the sharpest, least-compressed original you have, especially around the eyes, nose, whiskers and any jewellery. The strength of the craquelure, varnish and aged shadows is adjusted to the source quality and the intended print size.
When to choose this collection
A choice for long-term keeping, family inheritance, studies, hallways and memorial pieces. When the portrait should feel like an object that has existed for a long time rather than a newly generated illustration, Royal Collection is the closest fit.
How it is made: Directed by master artist ABiao with over 30 years of classical painting heritage, uniting digital fine art mastery with meticulous hand-refinement. From composition and line work to lighting and texture, every piece undergoes rigorous manual color calibration and quality inspection.
