Terms of Service

These terms govern the BIGBROSTUDIO website and online custom-art service. You must actively tick the box on the order page to confirm that you have read these terms and the Privacy Notice before submitting an order. Payment confirms the scope, price and delivery arrangement shown in your order confirmation.

1. Operator and service

Operator: ABiao (sole proprietor, trading as BIGBROSTUDIO). The service is provided online and delivered as digital files (as this is a custom digital service, we do not provide formal tax invoices; your PayPal payment record serves as transaction proof). To request a service-of-process address or a formal notice address, please message us directly on your order tracking page or through our on-site consultation.

BIGBROSTUDIO provides custom pet portraits, human portraits, professional photo restoration and memory-portrait services. The site receives requests, accepts photographs, records order status, shows progress and processes online payments through PayPal. Submitting a request does not create a final order; after reviewing the source photo and requirements and confirming that we can take on the work, we confirm the scope, price and payment method.

2. Artist and giving commitment

BIGBROSTUDIO was founded in September 2026 by master artist ABiao, who has painted since the age of eight, has more than 30 years of traditional painting experience and studied industrial design at university.

We set aside 5% of the amount paid on every order for pet food for stray animals around the studio. This is a standing commitment; if the percentage changes, we will update this page.

3. How the work is made and AI disclosure

Work follows an artist-led digital process: source-photo analysis, composition and style design, then digital painting and/or AI-assisted generation, followed by human refinement, correction and quality control. The balance of manual and AI-assisted work is confirmed before production. If you do not want generative AI used, include that requirement in the order notes; we will confirm whether the brief can be accepted, and no final-production charge will be taken if it cannot.

Restoration is based only on the original photograph and verifiable records. We do not invent identity, rank, medals, family relationships or historical service. Details that cannot be confirmed are explained in advance. Every finished piece is reviewed and approved by the artist before delivery.

4. Products and display

Styles, samples, collection names and restoration visuals illustrate creative direction and visual effects. They are not real customer cases, testimonials, sales evidence or photographs of delivered physical products. Every pet, person and old photograph is different, so the final piece varies with source quality, subject features and the selected service.

Real customer cases and reviews are published only with verifiable material and written display permission, and are labelled accordingly. We do not publish your photographs, restoration results or finished artwork without permission.

5. Pricing, packages and offers

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and consist of:

The on-page calculator is an estimate. Special requirements, cross-border payment costs or a confirmed scope change may affect the final price; the written quote confirmed before payment governs. Rush work is subject to available capacity, and we will not ask you to pay a rush fee before a slot is confirmed.

6. Ordering, consent and payment

The order process is: read and actively tick the consent box on the order page → submit your request and photographs → we confirm whether the work can be accepted → you receive a design preview → you approve it → the final package and delivery option are confirmed → payment is completed → final production and delivery begin. The system records the version of these terms and the time you accepted them.

Preview approval deadline: the preview email or member area shows the deadline. You may review the draft and select “Confirm draft” on the tracking page. If you need any revisions or have questions, please leave a message directly on your order tracking page (no need to reply by email); the artist reviews and handles your requests directly in the order. The system records confirmations, revision messages or absence of a reply. To avoid losing the processing window before the selected delivery target, if no confirmation or change request is received by the deadline, the order will move to the payment stage under the “no reply by deadline” process, and a payment link will be sent to the order email or member area. This only continues the agreed payment step: it does not automatically charge you, and it does not mean that you have inspected every detail or waived statutory rights. You may still leave a message on your order page to report material errors, identification problems or non-conforming content before paying.

Early release before the approval deadline is permitted only after the administrator separately confirms and records the reason. Previews use a compressed file covered by a repeating “BIGBROSTUDIO” watermark. The complete final file remains locked until payment and is used only for production, quality control and delivery.

PayPal processes online payments and supports a PayPal balance or eligible cards. We do not store full card numbers or PayPal passwords. Once payment succeeds and PayPal confirmation is received, the order enters final production. We may decline unsuitable, unlawful, unfulfillable or over-capacity requests and explain why.

7. Delivery and capacity

The order page shows the standard 7-calendar-day or selected rush delivery target, and the system schedules the preview approval deadline before that target. Final production and delivery remain conditional on completed payment. These are service targets and may be reasonably extended by unusable source files, delayed approval, payment review or events beyond our control. Any extension is recorded in the order or explained by email.

Rush capacity is limited. We accept the rush fee only after confirming a slot and may pause rush orders when capacity is full. Order progress and downloads are available through a token-protected tracking page, and key updates are sent to the order email.

8. Revisions and refunds

[Before Payment · Risk-Free Preview] During the preview stage, the artist creates a watermarked initial draft for your online review. You may request reasonable minor revisions to mood, details, and color palette at no cost. Zero fees are charged until you approve the draft; if the preview does not meet your expectations, you may cancel your commission at anytime prior to payment at zero financial cost.

[After Payment · Digital Delivery Non-Refundable] Because our services consist of highly personalised custom digital artwork involving extensive manual labor and craftsmanship, once you approve the preview, complete payment, and unlock the watermark-free ultra-HD files, the digital commission is deemed fully performed and completed. Due to the irreversible and instant nature of digital files, orders are strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or retracted after payment. If you require minor tweaks after delivery, our artist remains available to assist within reasonable bounds.

Mandatory consumer cancellation, refund and other statutory remedies are not limited by these terms. Payment, delivery and dispute records are retained as described in the Privacy Notice.

9. Copyright and licence

Upon full completion of your payment, receipt of funds by BIGBROSTUDIO, and provided there are no subsequent payment disputes or chargebacks, all copyrights, intellectual property rights, and usage rights in the delivered artwork belong entirely to the owner of that order (you). BIGBROSTUDIO will not claim or retain any copyright in the completed artwork; you are free to use it for personal non-commercial purposes (such as private collection, social sharing, and self-printing) or commercial purposes. If your source photographs include third-party portraits or rights, you remain responsible for ensuring that you hold lawful rights for such use.

Because our services consist of highly personalised, custom digital products and creative work, BIGBROSTUDIO invests substantial professional time and craftsmanship into processing your order from the moment you submit your request. Accordingly, BIGBROSTUDIO does not provide formal commercial or tax invoices. Your official PayPal payment receipt and system order records serve as the sole valid proof of payment for the transaction.

All rights in the source photographs and reference materials you provide remain with you or the original rights holders. We will never publicly display your source photos or finished artwork without explicit written permission. If you grant display permission, you may withdraw it at any time by email without affecting lawful use that occurred prior to withdrawal.

10. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you took, lawfully hold or are licensed to use the photographs, and that they do not infringe publicity, privacy, copyright or other third-party rights. Do not submit unlawful, malicious or impersonating material.

11. Accuracy of content

Content may change as the portfolio, service scope and operations evolve. Starting prices, reference prices, package contents, delivery tiers and AI disclosures may be updated; the order confirmation and the latest version of this page govern.

12. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site available, the content accurate and delivery as agreed, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for indirect loss caused by third-party hosting, networks, payment channels or unauthorised access beyond what applicable law allows. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when site features, production workflow, pricing structure or applicable rules change. Material changes are identified by the page date and version number. New orders use the version shown when the order is submitted.

14. Governing law and disputes

Without limiting mandatory protections available in your country of residence, these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve a dispute in good faith by leaving a message on the order page or consulting amicably through the platform. If that fails, proceedings may be brought before a competent court at the operator's location. Your statutory right to bring proceedings or seek another remedy in your local courts is not restricted.

15. Contact and order communications

To ensure complete records and prompt responses, all order details, revision requests, notes and after-sales support are handled directly through messages on your order tracking page. Whenever you have a question about your order, simply leave a message on the order page and our artist will attend to it attentively.
